They retained important pieces such as Tarris Reed Jr., Solo Ball and Jaylin Stewart.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"paragraph\" class=\"mb-[20px] md:mb-[30px] break-word\">Their leader for the new season will be Alex Karaban, who Hurley believes can have a breakout year in his fourth campaign in <a href=\"http:\/\/bolavip.com\/en\/college-basketball\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" class=\"break-word font-articleLinkText text-articleLinkText hover:text-articleLinkTextHover hover:bg-articleLinkTextHoverBg cursor-pointer border-solid border-b-articleLinkTextHover\">college basketball<\/a>. The forward averaged 14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 blocks per game in 2024-25, but his efforts weren\u2019t enough to take his team to a third consecutive championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dan Hurley warns about Alex Karaban\u2019s mentality after being overlooked<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"paragraph\" class=\"mb-[20px] md:mb-[30px] break-word\">The lack of success last season might have cost him a lot of attention and hype for the upcoming one. What he went through last year has mentally prepared him.
