There\u2019s one piece of news to start, and it has to do with the goalkeepers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">With the departure of Marc-Andr\u00e9 ter Stegen to Ajax, the #1 shirt became available, and Joan Garcia has taken it. Already the #1 for Barcelona in terms of starting preference in Hansi Flick\u2019s mind, Garcia now will wear the number as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">La Liga\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.laliga.com\/en-GB\/clubs\/fc-barcelona\/squad\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a> shows Garcia with #1, after he wore #13 last season. That, incidentally has opened up #13 for Wojciech Szcz\u0119sny to wear. The Polish keeper previously wore #25.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">New signings Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, and Jesse Bisiwu do not yet appear on the website and will need to be assigned numbers. He most recently wore #32 for Bar\u00e7a in official competitions. Jo\u00e3o Cancelo and Rodri are the most likely signings going from reports. Cancelo could wear #2, which he wore for Barcelona last season and is still free. Ferm\u00edn L\u00f3pez wears #16, which Rodri wears for Manchester City. A new striker, if signed, could end up wearing Robert Lewandowski\u2019s #9.
