Patriots kicker Andy Borregales got a lot of opportunities to make field goals on Thursday night, but he didn\u2019t come through for his team often enough. <\/p>\n
Borregales missed three of the five field goals he tried in a 13-13 tie. The missed kicks were from 56, 55 and 49 yards. <\/p>\n
After the game, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel was asked what message he had for the kicker in the wake of his rough night. <\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t have a message,\u201d Vrabel said, via a transcript from the team. \u201cWe\u2019re expected to make them. That\u2019s pro football. They\u2019re banging them in from 60 yards. They got two kickers on the roster, so Andy knows that we have to make those field goals.\u201d<\/p>\n
Borregales was 27-of-32 on field goals and 53-of-55 on extra points for the Patriots last season.
