The Hennepin County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office has formally identified those who died earlier this week in the Hopkins and Burnsville tragedy.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, 41-year-old Kristen Brown and 7-year-old Evie Brown are believed to have been killed by 41-year-old Nathan Brown before he killed himself Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The medical examiner also confirmed that 78-year-old Alice Brown, whom police confirmed was \u201ca close family relative\u201d of Nathan Brown, was the woman found dead in Burnsville later the same day.<\/p>\n

Search warrants revealed that the man who called 911 to the Brown\u2019s in-home daycare in Hopkins did so after hearing screaming when he went to drop his kids off there.<\/p>\n

Six other kids were inside the home at the time and were all physically unharmed, according to police.<\/p>\n

Investigators say a least one person had received a letter from Kristen about two weeks ago stating the daycare would be closing due to \u201crelationship issues with Nathan,\u201d court records state.<\/p>\n

While the medical examiner has yet to officially rule on their causes of death, the warrant states that Nathan killed his wife and daughter with a screwdriver.<\/p>\n

As the community continues to mourn, a small memorial for Kristen and Evie has formed outside the Hopkins daycare. Flowers, a candle and a small plushie were seen lining the concrete just outside the home starting Thursday morning and continuing on Friday.<\/p>\n
