CARRINGTON, N.D. \u2014 Kaylin Goldsmith shot a 1-over 73 to help Kindred to the team title while West Fargo Sheyenne’s Ava Keene was a shot better at 72 to win the individual title at the Sheyenne Invite on Friday at Cross Roads Golf Course.<\/p>\n
The Vikings’ 302 total was 11 strokes better than Sheyenne. Grand Forks Red River (328), Shanley (329) and Horace (331) rounded out the top five teams.<\/p>\n
Keene, a senior, offset four bogeys with three birdies in her even-par round. Alexis Fabian finished with a 74 with Reagan Lorz of Kindred at 75 and teammate Bailey Theuninck at 76. Morgan McDonald of Kindred finished tied for sixth at 78.<\/p>\n
