With one exception, the Chiefs seemed to come out of Saturday\u2019s game healthy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">In the fourth quarter, international tackle Chu Godrick was announced as questionable to return <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Chiefs\/status\/2088757302623105078\" rel=\"nofollow\">due to an ankle injury<\/a>. After the loss, Godrick was the only injured player head coach Andy Reid highlighted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cAs far as injuries go,\u201d the coach began, \u201creally, it was just Chu Godrick had an ankle sprain. Other than that, there were no other injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Encouragingly, Reid did not mention rookie Jadon Canady. Canady briefly entered the medical tent in the fourth quarter before returning to the game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Per Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest, the following players <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mattderrick\/status\/2088711726107934795\" rel=\"nofollow\">did not dress<\/a> for Saturday\u2019s game due to injury: wide receiver Jimmy Holiday (undisclosed), right guard Trey Smith (hip) and linebacker Drue Tranquill (back). Defensive backs Chamarri Conner, Kader Kohu and L\u2019Jarius Sneed all missed the contest due to knee injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott remains on the active\/physically-unable-to-perform list and has not yet participated in training camp practices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, wide receivers Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy, cornerback Mansoor Delane, pass rusher Ashton Gillotte and newly signed defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah were dressed on the sideline but did not enter the game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Several other players had short workloads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Running back Kenneth Walker exited the game after the first offensive snap. The starting offensive line of tackles Josh Simmons and Jaylon Moore, guards Kingsley Suamataia and Kahlil Benson and center Creed Humphrey were replaced after the first offensive possession.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">On defense, defensive tackle Chris Jones played only the first defensive snap.
