Croatia ranked ahead of countries including Norway, Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates, where wealth also increased by more than 20 per cent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">UBS said nine countries recorded wealth growth of more than 20 per cent during the period, while average wealth per adult declined in 15 countries. Among the larger falls were the Netherlands, at 14 per cent, and the United Kingdom, at 23 per cent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Croatia\u2019s position comes as Eastern Europe recorded the strongest regional growth in personal wealth in 2025, rising by 28 per cent. Western Europe recorded growth of 17 per cent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">There is, however, no official consolidated figure for the total value of assets owned by Croatian citizens. Relevant data is spread across different state records.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Separate figures from the Croatian National Bank (HNB) show that the net financial assets of Croatian households stood at around \u20ac88 billion at the end of the first quarter of 2026, up 9 per cent year-on-year. This equates to approximately \u20ac23,000 per resident when expressed on a per-capita basis, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jutarnji.hr\/novac\/aktualno\/ubs-hrvatska-treci-najveci-rast-osobne-imovine-2020-2025-15737541?cx_linkref=jl_home_g1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jutarnji list<\/a> said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Globally, UBS estimated that total wealth increased by 10 per cent in 2025, while nearly one million new US-dollar millionaires emerged.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The bank also noted that wealth gains were uneven.
