Scottie Scheffler got a whole lot richer with his victory at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the PGA Tour\u2019s restructured FedExCup bonus payout, Scheffler secured another $23 million.<\/p>\n
With FedExCup points carrying over from the regular season and through the first playoff event, the PGA Tour pays out nearly $100,000,000 in bonus money after the second postseason tournament.<\/p>\n
Scheffler topped the points list for the regular season. And after his victory in Memphis, Tennessee, he\u2019s a mathematical lock to be No. 1 after the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s quite the haul over the last two weeks for the world\u2019s best:<\/p>\n
While Scheffler has secured the lion\u2019s share of the FEC bonus pool, there are tens of millions more to be played for, including cash and deferments.
