{"id":816881,"date":"2026-08-17T19:52:11","date_gmt":"2026-08-17T19:52:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/816881\/"},"modified":"2026-08-17T19:52:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T19:52:11","slug":"apple-seeds-sixth-ios-27-and-ipados-27-betas-to-developers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/816881\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple Seeds Sixth iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 Betas to Developers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apple today seeded the sixth betas of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/roundup\/ios-27\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iOS 27<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/roundup\/ipados-27\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPadOS 27<\/a> to developers for testing purposes, with the update coming one week after Apple released the fifth betas.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1051808\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/iOS-27-Feature-Dark.jpg\"   alt=\"iOS 27 Feature Dark\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1406\"\/><br \/>Registered developers can download the betas from the Settings app on the iPhone or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/roundup\/ipad\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPad<\/a> by going to the General section and selecting Software Update.<\/p>\n<p>\u200ciOS 27\u200c introduces Apple&#8217;s smarter version of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/guide\/siri\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Siri<\/a>, \u200cSiri\u200c AI. \u200cSiri\u200c AI is a chatbot similar to ChatGPT, incorporating general world knowledge, personal data from apps like Messages and Mail, and onscreen awareness to answer questions and find information for you.<\/p>\n<p>There are new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/guide\/apple-intelligence\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Apple Intelligence<\/a> features in apps like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/guide\/photos\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Photos<\/a>, Safari, Shortcuts, Wallet, and Passwords, plus Apple added a standalone \u200cSiri\u200c app that houses \u200cSiri\u200c conversations. Write with \u200cSiri\u200c is available systemwide for generating text or offering feedback on your writing, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/guide\/visual-intelligence\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Visual Intelligence<\/a> has been relocated to the Camera app with a new \u200cSiri\u200c mode.<\/p>\n<p>Apple improved the look of Liquid Glass and added a slider for customizing transparency. There are multiple performance improvements to speed up iOS, so everything feels faster, even on older iPhones.
