\u201cKyle\u2019s passion for the Hawks organization, culture building, and both people and player development have tremendously benefited our program and we are grateful,\u201d Saleh said in a statement. \u201cKyle and his family will always be a part of the Hawks family.\u201d<\/p>\n

7:14pm: Former NBA sharpshooter Kyle Korver, who has been a member of the Hawks\u2018 front office for the past four years, is leaving the organization, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line (Twitter link<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The split is an amicable one, as Stein hears Atlanta\u2019s assistant general manager is parting ways with team on \u201cgood terms.\u201d Korver is excited for his \u201cnext post-playing chapter,\u201d Stein adds.<\/p>\n

Brad Rowland of Locked On Hawks (Twitter link<\/a>) and Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution confirm the news, with Williams stating (via Twitter<\/a>) that the 45-year-old is looking forward to \u201cspending more time with his family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Korver became an executive with the Hawks in the summer of 2022, initially holding the title of director of player affairs and development. He was quickly promoted<\/a> to assistant GM in January 2023.<\/p>\n

Korver was reportedly<\/a> among the candidates the Bulls considered when they were searching for a new head of basketball operations this offseason, a job that went to Bryson Graham, who spent the 2024\/25 campaign as Korver\u2019s colleague in Atlanta.<\/p>\n

After being selected 51st overall in the 2003 draft out of Creighton, Korver spent the following 17 seasons playing in the NBA, making his lone All-Star appearance in 2014\/15 as a Hawk.
