Heated Rivalry
The first photo has been released from the set of the second season of Crave and HBO Max\u2019s \u201cHeated Rivalry,\u201d which is now in production. Breakout stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams return as Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander respectively.<\/p>\n

Joining them will be Charlie Gillespie as Troy Barrett and Justice Smith as Harris Drover. The show is based on Rachel Reid\u2019s \u201cGame Changers\u201d novels, this one primarily adapts the sixth book \u201cThe Long Game\u201d. The second will air in Spring 2027. Tangled
\u201cOutlander\u201d star Caitr\u00edona Balfe has been cast as Rapunzel\u2019s mother in Disney\u2019s upcoming live-action remake of its animated film \u201cTangled\u201d. Also hopping on board are Elliot Cowan (\u201cDa Vinci\u2019s Demons\u201d) as King Frederic and Patrick and Hugo McPherson as the Stabbington twins.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll join the already cast Teagan Croft as Rapunzel, Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider, Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel and Diego Luna as new character Hawthorne. Production is currently underway at the Ciudad de la Luz studios in Alicante, Spain ahead of a March 2028 release. [Source: Disney]<\/p>\n

Martha & Muhammad
Comedian Ramy Youssef and screen siren Sharon Stone will team up for the comedy film \u201cMartha & Muhammad\u201d at A24, the project marking Youssef\u2019s directorial debut. He also wrote the script and will produce alongside Eli Bush, Ronald Bronstein, Josh Safdie, Christopher Storer and Tyson Bidner.<\/p>\n

The story follows a white widowed socialite in New York who develops a relationship with a young Muslim man. Topics of class, religion, immigration and age come into play. Filming is slated to begin this Fall. [Source: THR<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Mommy\u2019s Home
\u201cShazam\u201d helmer David F. Sandberg has been set to helm the psychological thriller \u201cMommy\u2019s Home\u201d at Lionsgate. Sandberg replaces James Morosini (\u201cI Love My Dad\u201d) who was attached two years ago. The story follows a young dad whose family life becomes terrifyingly unhinged when his 24-year-old mom is unfrozen decades after being cryogenically preserved. [Source: The InSneider<\/a>]<\/p>\n

A Different World
Netflix has released the full trailer for \u201cA Different World,\u201d a new take on the late 1980s\/1990s \u201cThe Cosby Show\u201d spin-off. It follows a new generation of Hillman College students. Several original cast members also return to the fictional HBCU.<\/p>\n

Tony winner Maleah Joi Moon plays Deborah Wayne, the youngest daughter of the original show\u2019s central romantic characters Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert. Deborah arrives at Hillman determined to forge her own path. The new series launches on September 24th 2026.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
