{"id":817423,"date":"2026-08-18T07:40:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-18T07:40:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/817423\/"},"modified":"2026-08-18T07:40:15","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T07:40:15","slug":"tory-horton-misses-seahawks-practice-working-through-some-things","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/817423\/","title":{"rendered":"Tory Horton misses Seahawks practice, \u2018working through some things\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">There\u2019s a bit of good news and not-so-good news coming out of the Seattle Seahawks\u2019 Monday practice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald didn\u2019t have much to offer in terms of injury specifics for Horton or anyone else.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">\u201cTory\u2019s working through some things,\u201d Macdonald said at Monday\u2019s press conference. \u201cYeah, not a lot of updates on the injury front right now, but they had a couple guys down today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Horton did not play in Saturday\u2019s preseason loss versus the Dallas Cowboys, although it\u2019s unknown whether that\u2019s injury related or if he\u2019s enough of a key offensive component to not be risked for a game. Dating back to his final season at Colorado State, he\u2019s had consecutive seasons end prematurely due to leg injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">And yet, Horton\u2019s training camp has been encouraging up until this point. Having had offseason surgery, Horton did not participate in OTAs or mandatory minicamp, but was ready for Day 1 of training camp.
