The French club is showing strong interest in acquiring Washington, who has appeared in 74 NBA games with the Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, and Houston Rockets.

Across his NBA career, Washington has averaged 2.9 points and 1.1 assists in 9 minutes per game.

TyTy Washington stats

In the 2025-26 season with the Clippers, he posted 1.3 points and 1.1 assists in less than six minutes of action.

Washington spent a significant part of his professional career in the G League. Last season, he averaged 19.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 5.7 assists while shooting 41% from three.

Across four G League seasons, Washington has averaged 20.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.3 steals, while converting 38% of his 3-point attempts.

Before turning professional, Washington was a five-star recruit who played one season at Kentucky. In January 2022, he broke John Wall’s Kentucky single-game assists record, finishing with 17 points and 17 assists.

Four trades in one year

Washington was selected with the 29th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, but his NBA journey started with an unusually hectic series of moves.

His draft rights were initially acquired by the Memphis Grizzlies before he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on draft night as part of the Walker Kessler deal and then moved again to the Houston Rockets just days later.

The movement continued the following summer. Washington was traded by Houston to the Atlanta Hawks and, shortly afterward, moved again to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a deal involving Patty Mills – who, interestingly, is now also set to play under Tony Parker at ASVEL.

Washington was waived by Oklahoma City before the 2023-24 season and later continued his NBA journey on two-way contracts with the Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Clippers.
