BELLE ROSE \u2014 A couple was arrested after they allegedly broke into a woman’s Belle Rose home, attacked her and took her dog, Assumption Parish deputies said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Deputies said that, on Thursday night, 41-year-old Alessie Elizabeth Landry and her partner, 45-year-old Thomas James Guillot Jr., allegedly broke into a Millien Drive home.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Landry entered the home uninvited and began beating its occupant before allegedly taking a dog from the home. Guillot accompanied Landry during the alleged incident, deputies noted.<\/p>\n
As the investigation progressed, deputies learned that Guillot offered the woman money to recant statements she made to investigating officers following the incident.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, both Landry and Guillot were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center.<\/p>\n
Landry faced home invasion and simple battery charges. She was ordered to be held without bond due to parole and probation violations<\/p>\n
