New signups and logins on chatgpt.com are also failing.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/wiz.io\/lp\/ai-security-starter-pack?utm_source=bleepingcomputer&amp;utm_medium=display&amp;utm_campaign=FY27Q2_INB_FORM_AI-Security-Starter-Kit&amp;sfcid=701Vh00000cn7aRIAQ&amp;utm_term=FY27-bleepingcomputer-article-970x250-August&amp;utm_content=AI-Security-Bundle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/w-ai-security.jpg\" alt=\"image\" style=\"margin-top: 0px;\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ChatGPT\" height=\"650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/ChatGPT-down.jpg\" width=\"929\"\/>ChatGPT is unable to load chats<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nSource: BleepingComputer<\/p>\n<p>This outage also affects OpenAI&#8217;s coding platform, Codex. Thankfully, OpenAI is aware of these issues and has already acknowledged them on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/status.openai.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">status page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>OpenAI says it has identified that users are running into login issues across the impacted services, and that it is &#8220;working on implementing a mitigation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The outage also affects the OpenAI API, with as many as 12 API endpoints listed as having issues on the company&#8217;s status page.<\/p>\n<p>Update 1: As of 8:15 PM ET, OpenAI has marked the incident as identified and still ongoing, roughly 14 minutes after it began.
