Woot is seriously out here handing out pre-2020 style Black Friday deals<\/a> like it’s going out of fashion. Sure, this is contingent on you never having used Woot before, or maybe finding someone in your life that hasn’t, but also has an Amazon Prime membership<\/a> for free delivery (otherwise, it’s $5.99 to ship anything).<\/p>\n

While this chance is the tiniest bit rarer on IGN, where I like to rattle on about how good Woot<\/a> is every day, there is still a decent possibility that someone out there will be able to take advantage of an excellent deal like this.<\/p>\n

Both are eligible for $10 Switch –> Switch 2 upgrades, which admittedly wipes out your savings immediately. But it’s still much better than buying full wack for the game, and then expected to pay an additional fee on top without all the discounts applied. <\/p>\n

Or, if you prefer, pick up Sonic x Shadow Generations on Xbox, and you can pay just $1 without any additional upgrade fees required. I can personally confirm Xbox Series X consoles run this game like a dream, as it’s where I played through the game myself. I absolutely loved my time with it, as well.<\/p>\n

Even without the HELLOTEN promo code, I still think $10.99 and $17.99 for these two excellent games isn’t a bad deal on Switch either\u2014it’s just not the no brainer levels of discount that can be achieved with the newbies promo offer.<\/p>\n

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – IGN Review<\/p>\n

“Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds fires on all cylinders with a fantastic roster of 24 of my favorite hedgehogs, foxes, echidnas, and more. The lineup of 24 main tracks and 15 Crossworld tracks is the best-designed selection we’ve ever gotten in any Sonic racing game, and there is a generationally great soundtrack to accompany them. The racing itself feels fast, fantastic, and intuitive, with lots of options to tweak your stats to your preferred playstyle.” <\/p>\n

“There are plenty of modes that entertained my friends and me for hours, and CrossWorlds will probably be a regular staple of hangouts as more courses and characters are added over the coming months \u2013 though I do wish it had the option for splitscreen when playing online. The titular Crossworld mechanic is an awesome idea that keeps each race fresh, and a great way to potentially turn the tables on opponents thanks to a lengthy list of customization options.” <\/p>\n

Sonic x Shadow Generations – IGN Review<\/p>\n

“Sonic X Shadow Generations takes an already excellent game and spring jumps it to new heights at a blistering pace by doubling up the campaign length with creative level design, fantastic bosses, plenty of collectibles, and an appreciable graphical upgrade.” <\/p>\n

“While the brand-new Shadow content isn’t necessarily long on its own, it adds a nice change of pace to the collection of all-time great Sonic stages Generations already contained, and there\u2019s an exciting new story that\u2019s filled in as you explore the overworld for collectibles, activities, and challenges.” <\/p>\n

“This bulked-up remaster soars far and above previous enhanced versions we’ve gotten in the Sonic franchise, and hopefully will be the gold standard Sega holds itself to when it decides to bring back other Sonic games from the past.”<\/p>\n
