\n\tGoose<\/a> stopped by The Tonight Show<\/a> to showcase their new single, \u201cMadalena.\u201d The song comes off the band\u2019s surprise LP, Chain Yer Dragon, which dropped at midnight. <\/p>\n \n\tThe Connecticut group offered an emotionally-resonate performance of the mid-tempo jam-rock tune, which follows on the heels of their recent single, \u201cRoyal.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tChain Yer Dragon is Goose\u2019s first new music since Everything Must Go<\/a>, which arrived in April. Everything Must Go\u00a0marked Goose\u2019s fourth studio album, following\u00a02022\u2019s\u00a0Dripfield<\/a>. It was produced by D. James Goodwin, who was also behind the boards for\u00a0Dripfield. It was also the first Goose studio album to feature\u00a0new drummer Cotter Ellis<\/a>, who joined the band last year. In March, the band parted ways<\/a> with percussionist\/multi-instrumentalist Jeff Arevalo. <\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tGoose will perform at the Park City Song Summit this weekend before continuing their ongoing tour through the fall. The band will play a one-night-only show as special guest for Dave Matthews Band on Aug. 31 at the Gorge Amphitheatre along with numerous headlining shows around the U.S. The tour wraps in late October at Suwanee Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida. <\/p>\n \n\tIn December, Goose will hold their 12th annual\u00a0Goosemas\u00a0holiday celebration. The festival will take place Dec. 12-13 at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence. One dollar from every ticket sold for Goosemas will benefit\u00a0Backline, a non-profit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources.
