Suns owner Mat Ishbia is \u201cin \u2018zero\u2019 danger\u201d of having to sell the\u202fteam in the coming months despite his company\u2019s recent $452M quarterly loss<\/a>, according to sources cited by the ARIZONA REPUBLIC. A source said that Ishbia is \u201cin the process of buying out\u201d longtime Suns and Mercury minority owners Scott Seldin and Andy Kohlberg and bringing his family\u2019s total ownership to \u201cessentially 99%.\u201d Companies owned by Seldin and Kohlberg now \u201cown approximately 14% of the teams, but a legal fight between them appears to be on a path toward settlement.\u201d Ishbia\u2019s UWM Holdings Corp. recently announced a $2.05B capital partnership with Oaktree Capital Management.
