Hinojosa, 52, has a fairly standard platform of Democratic issues \u2014 end <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/nation\/2025\/06\/03\/texas-legislature-immigration-vouchers-universities\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\" title=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/nation\/2025\/06\/03\/texas-legislature-immigration-vouchers-universities\/\">state school vouchers<\/a>, and lower health care, grocery and utility costs.
