We\u2019re told the intention is for her and McConaughey to star, though it\u2019s very early days and there are no cast attachments as yet. There\u2019s no logline yet for the sequel, nor a writer aboard the project, so stay tuned as things progress.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOne of the most revisited studio rom-coms of the 2000s,\u00a0How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days\u00a0watches as magazine writer Andie Anderson (Hudson) and ad executive Benjamin Barry (McConaughey) enter a relationship, each with a secret agenda: she wants to drive him away for a story, while he bets he can make her fall in love with him in 10 days. Their schemes are foiled when real feelings enter the picture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDonald Petrie directed the film, which released in February 2003, grossing over $178M worldwide. Kristen Buckley, Brian Regan and Burr Steers penned the script, with Lynda Obst, Robert Evans and Christine Peters producing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tComing off her second Oscar nomination for the Focus Features drama\u00a0Song Sung Blue, Hudson can currently be seen starring in Netflix\u2019s hit comedy\u00a0Running Point, heading into its third season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAlso a two-time Oscar nominee, producer Sher\u2019s recent credits include\u00a0A24\u2019s Heretic\u00a0and Chris Pine\u2019s\u00a0Poolman. Upcoming, she has Michael Showalter\u2019s Amazon MGM thriller\u00a0Verity, adapting the Colleen Hoover novel, out Oct. 2.
