What the settlement provides<\/p>\n
Settling defendants agreed to pay $359,925,000 into a fund for eligible renters. After deductions for taxes, administrative costs, and attorneys\u2019 fees, the remaining money will be distributed proportionally based on rent paid during the class period \u2014 the more rent paid, the larger the potential share.<\/p>\n
Beyond cash, settling defendants also agreed to stop sharing nonpublic pricing data with RealPage, waive arbitration clauses against class members, and cooperate with ongoing litigation against defendants who have not yet settled.<\/p>\n

Supporting documents may include lease agreements, bank statements showing rent payments, canceled checks, or payment confirmations from a resident portal. No payments will be distributed until after the court grants final approval.<\/p>\n
