(Credit: Imago)Roy Keane not pleased with Mads Hermansen signing<\/p>\n<p>Another player who joined the Hammers this summer was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westhamzone.com\/opinion\/hermansen-and-hidden-weapon-which-west-ham-players-could-make-debuts-vs-sunderland\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mads Hemansen, moving permanently from Leicester City<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Potter wanted a new number one goalkeeper as Alphonse Areola has not been impressive between the sticks.<\/p>\n<p>While the Englishman appears to be content with his signing, Roy Keane does not seem too impressed.<\/p>\n<p>Alphonse Areola 2024-25 statisticsSignedJune 2022Appearances82<\/p>\n<p>In his view, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westhamzone.com\/tag\/mads-hermansen\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hermansen<\/a>, 25. didn\u2019t do particularly well for Leicester in the Premier League last season.<\/p>\n<p>Keane made these comments about the Danish keeper after Jamie Carragher asked if the Hammers were in a relegation fight.<\/p>\n<p>Carragher told Sky Sports\u2019 Overlap at 46:38: \u201cIs West Ham in a relegation fight or getting relegated?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To which Keane responded: \u201cJamie, they just bought that keeper from Leicester.
