This week, the Community Advocate highlighted the accomplishment of another impressive Southborough teen. The article focused on a resident \u201cFresh out of high school\u201d, who recently wrote, illustrated, and published a children\u2019s book. <\/p>\n

The CA writes:<\/p>\n

Stemming from a childhood love for art and a reignited passion for storytelling, [Camryn Hartigan] was driven to write and illustrate \u201cWhen The Sky Lets Go.\u201d Her job as a camp counselor gave her a full-circle appreciation for the influence that art and writing have on young minds. . .\u00a0<\/p>\n

The book centers around the idea that it\u2019s okay to grow and change, something Hartigan believes is very important for children to understand.<\/p>\n

Despite the backdrop of the photo she shared with the paper and me, Hartigan\u2019s book isn\u2019t yet available through the Southborough Library. (Though it will be.) But you can purchase your own copy:<\/p>\n
