There is expected to be a rather significant change in AC Milan’s goalkeeping department, involving a promotion and an exit.

As Calciomercato.com report, a clear signal came on Sunday as Pietro Terracciano was not on the bench for Torino. vs. Milan. The former Fiorentina goalkeeper spoke with the Rossoneri in recent days, and the discussions led to the mutual decision to end his contract in the coming days.

This was driven on the one hand by the Italian’s desire to return to regular playing time, but on the other by Milan’s commitment to developing the young goalkeepers in the squad.

Agent at work

Terracciano’s agent has been working for several days to find the best possible solution for his client. After Juventus (who signed Grabara as their second goalkeeper) fell through as an option, Pastorello re-established contact with Monza.

The newly-promoted club are desperately searching for a reliable goalkeeper to give to their head coach Ivan Juric. A meeting is scheduled for the next few hours where the parties will try to seal a definitive agreement.

Thus, the decision to focus on Lorenzo Torriani as second goalkeeper behind Mike Maignan has been made, and it actually came before the call was made to sell Terracciano. Milan strongly believe in Torriani, and Milan rejected several enquiries that arrived.

On August 18, Milan made the contract renewal of Léo-Paul Bouyer official, the 2008-born French goalkeeper who will compete for the role of third-choice goalkeeper alongside Matteo Pittarella, who is ahead in Ruben Amorim’s pecking order at the moment.

There is expected to be a rather significant change in AC Milan’s goalkeeping department, involving a promotion and…

[69
403,99
post-826665","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-soccer","tag-soccer","tag-sports
["GET
