Stock Market Today: During the week ended 11 July 2025, the benchmark Nifty-50 index ended 1.3% lower at 25,149.85, amid global<\/a> uncertainties around tariff negotiations and caution at the start of earnings season. The Bank Nifty, at 56,754.70, also ended 0.5% lower. Auto IT metals were the top losers, while most sectors, barring FMCG, ended with losses. Broader markets also ended with more than a 1% decline.<\/p>\n

Trade Setup for Monday<\/p>\n

The immediate support for Nifty-50 now lies in the 24900\u201324850 zone, where the 50-day EMA is placed. A break below 24850 could push the index toward the next support at 24550, while a zone above 25300\u201325350 is required for bulls to regain control in the short term, as per Sudeep Shah, Deputy Vice President, Head of Technical and Derivative Research, SBI Securities<\/p>\n

For Bank Nifty, the zone of 56200-56300 will act as immediate support, said Shah<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Global markets today and Q1 Results<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, the earnings season will be in full focus, and results<\/a> from HCL Tech<\/a>, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank<\/a>, Wipro<\/a>, JSW Steel<\/a>, L&T Finance, and HDFC Bank, among others, will be released.<\/p>\n

On the macroeconomic front, participants will closely track the WPI and CPI inflation data scheduled for July 14 for further cues on the economy. Apart from these, the trend in FII flows and movement in crude oil<\/a> prices will also remain on traders\u2019 radar, said Ajit Mishra, SVP, Research, Religare Broking Ltd.<\/p>\n

Globally, markets will watch for any updates related to trade negotiations and tariffs, along with key economic data releases such as U.S. inflation and China\u2019s GDP numbers, added Mishra<\/p>\n
