CNN’s Brian Stelter reported<\/a> on the news in response to a Daily Mail rumor suggesting “Karoline Leavitt in secret talks to join TV\u2019s most controversial show.” Stelter clarified that Leavitt has only been invited as a one-time guest rather than as a host or guest host.<\/p>\n “She would not be a guest host on the talk show or join in a more official capacity,” Stelter wrote. “All six co-hosts of ‘The View’ are returning for the new season that begins in September. They’re just at a critical time in their life where they need their mom home a little bit more, so I look forward to spending more time with them, but continuing to serve the president as a top advisor on the outside.”<\/p>\n The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) launched a probe into ABC’s “The View” over its policy on networks providing equal time for political candidates.
