Kubiak said he is \u201cnot making any promises on percentages of play time,\u201d but he thinks both backs \u201cwill prepare to play a lot of football and as these games unfold, you react to the game.\u201d McFadden used the term \u201c1-2 punch\u201d to sum up Kubiak\u2019s potential running back usage. McFadden also notes that \u201cin May, Kubiak talked about using Jeanty as a bell cow running back,\u201d and reports of that nature continued rolling in through early August.
