As Marvel prepares to re-enter single-player games with Wolverine\u2019s upcoming solo outing<\/a>, attention\u2019s also turned to another A-lister\u2019s future game: Iron Man.<\/p>\n

First announced back in 2022<\/a>, the Motive and EA title has gone quiet ever since, and you wouldn\u2019t be wrong to have forgotten about it. But on Friday morning, social media lit up with a leaked trailer (with heavily unfinished assets) seemingly meant for a grand reveal sometime this year. We won\u2019t link to it, but it features Tony Stark donning his armored suit, flying around in the sky (barrel rolls, baby!) and using it to fight equally armored enemies. There\u2019s also a look at some familiar faces typically in Tony\u2019s orbit, like Rhodey and Pepper Potts, and a glimpse of villains like Madame Masque and Blizzard.<\/p>\n

On Friday afternoon, EA and Motive<\/a> acknowledged Iron Man\u2019s leak \u201cdidn\u2019t go as planned,\u201d but promised they have \u201ca lot more to show you. See you when we\u2019re ready.\u201d This game, when it releases, will be the\u00a0only one from EA\u2019s previously announced trilogy<\/a> that it\u2019s since backed out of. A Black Panther title<\/a> was in very early development before it and its studio got shuttered last year, and there was never any news of the third game. Meanwhile, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra<\/a>, which is being developed by Skydance and is another Marvel game whose status has been called into question like Iron Man, remains MIA.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll have more on the\u00a0Iron Man\u00a0game as official news emerges ahead of its PC and console release.<\/p>\n
