PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) \u2014 Portland police officers responded to a shooting in the Buckman neighborhood of Portland early Saturday morning. officers found one person dead on the scene.<\/p>\n
Around 2:34 a.m., Portland Police Bureau officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 700 block of Southeast 12th Avenue and found one person dead on the sidewalk.<\/p>\n
Police said the suspect or suspects left the before officers arrived. No arrests have been made at this time, police said.<\/p>\n
Portland Police did not provide any additional details about the victim, potential suspects, or any known motive attached to the shooting. <\/p>\n
During the investigation, Southeast 12th Avenue was closed between Southeast Morrison Street and Southeast Alder street, and Southeast Morrison Street was closed between Southeast 11th Avenue and Southeast 12th Avenue.<\/p>\n
