DETROIT LAKES

— 16-year-old Chase Birdwell from Blaine, Minnesota, was crowned the 2025 Championship division medalist in his first-ever Pine to Palm on Wednesday, Aug. 13.

The Class AAA boys golf state participant highlighted a day filled with exciting Championship division golf. Only the top 64 survived, which included a one-hole, 11-man playoff to decide the final five spots.

We have an 11-person playoff for the final 5 spots. Pretty crazy to see groups of 5 and 6 out on the course. Pictures are of the 1st group (6 golfers) pic.twitter.com/oebA6a4Rvc
