If this is true, it looks like Samsung is going to be replacing both telephotos from the S26 Ultra with one new camera, using a 1\/1.9&#8243; type sensor.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" alt=\"Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra leaked render\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1788215050_299_gsmarena_001.jpg\"\/><br \/>\nSamsung Galaxy S27 Ultra leaked render<\/p>\n<p>This camera will allegedly have 4x optical zoom, which is right in between the S26 Ultra&#8217;s two telephotos, one at 3x and the other at 5x. The S26 Ultra&#8217;s 5x camera uses a 1\/2.52&#8243; type sensor, while the 3x camera uses a 1\/3.94&#8243; type sensor, so the new sensor will be a massive upgrade in sheer size and light-gathering capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>As we get closer to the Galaxy S27 Ultra&#8217;s launch, we will definitely learn more about Samsung&#8217;s changes for the device.
