{"id":832981,"date":"2026-09-01T11:46:15","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T11:46:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/832981\/"},"modified":"2026-09-01T11:46:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T11:46:15","slug":"john-lynch-says-nothing-has-changed-with-brandon-aiyuks-status","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/832981\/","title":{"rendered":"John Lynch says &#8220;nothing has changed&#8221; with Brandon Aiyuk&#8217;s status"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brandon Aiyuk is out of sight, out of mind for the 49ers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsportsbayarea.com\/nfl\/san-francisco-49ers\/brandon-aiyuk-contract-john-lynch-4\/1959836\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Nothing has changed there<\/a>,\u201d 49ers General Manager John Lynch said Monday, via Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area. \u201cHe\u2019s on the reserve\/left squad list, and as such, he\u2019s just not on our roster.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aiyuk was due a $24.935 million option bonus on Sept. 1, part of the contract extension he signed with the 49ers before the 2024 season.
