They join previously announced cast Lily James, Jack Reynor, Ron Perlman and Elizabeth McGovern.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Producers are 21 Laps\u2019 Shawn Levy and Dan Levine, Blumhouse Atomic Monster\u2019s James Wan and Michael Clear, 12:01 Films\u2019 Scott Glassgold, and Dan Cohen. Judson Scott is an executive producer for Blumhouse Atomic Monster, and Alayna Glasthal is the executive overseeing for Amazon MGM.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHancock\u2019s script is adapted from the book by Matt &amp; Harrison Query, which in turn was based on a short story by Matt Query that first appeared on Reddit. The project\u00a0follows a husband and wife who buy their dream ranch only to discover the land is alive with ancient spirits, and survival means submitting to increasingly disturbing rituals with each turn of the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThis is the third team-up between 21 Laps and the team at Blumhouse Atomic Monster, who most recently produced A24\u2019s Backrooms, which smashed the studio\u2019s opening-weekend box office record ($81.4M domestic) and became A24\u2019s highest-grossing release worldwide ($394.1M WW)<\/p>\n<p>Studi\u2019s features include the multi-Oscar winner Dances with Wolves,\u00a0The Last of the Mohicans,\u00a0Geronimo: An American Legend and\u00a0Heat, as well as James Cameron\u2019s Avatar,\u00a0Paul Weitz\u2019s Being Flynn and Scott Cooper\u2019s\u00a0Hostiles. Other notable film credits include\u00a0The Only Good Indian which he also produced, The New World\u00a0Street Fighter,\u00a0Seraphim Falls and Three Priests, and such television movies as\u00a0Crazy Horse, Comanche Moon, Streets of Laredo, Broken Chain, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee and\u00a0Bandland. Other TV credits include Showtime\u2019s\u00a0Penny Dreadful,\u00a0The Mentalist,\u00a0Hell on Wheels and\u00a0Kings. Studi is represented by Paradigm and Michael Black Management.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDiLiegro can be seen in Netflix\u2019s\u00a0Running Point\u00a0as well as Season 5 of Hulu\u2019s\u00a0Only Murders in the Building.\u00a0DiLiegro previously retired from professional basketball to pursue acting; within two weeks, he booked his first role in the Netflix series\u00a0Sweet Home. He also appeared in\u00a0The Walking Dead\u00a0and\u00a0Side Hustle.\u00a0In 2021, he portrayed the titular character in the fifth episode of\u00a0American Horror Stories\u00a0opposite Billie Lourd. He can also be seen in Lucasfilm\u2019s Star Wars series\u00a0Skeleton Crew. The actor\u2019s film credits include\u00a0Prey,\u00a0Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, V\/H\/S\/Beyond,\u00a0and Monsters of California.
