\n All eyes are on a Massachusetts courtroom today, as jurors work for sixth day to break an impasse and come to a unanimous verdict in the trial of Lindsay Clancy.\n <\/p>\n
\n At the center of it all is Clancy, the former labor and delivery nurse charged with murder in the strangulation of her three children. Now paralyzed from a suicide attempt, the 36-year-old has pleaded not guilty to three counts of murder.\n <\/p>\n
\n Her future hangs in the balance: Will the jury convict her of murder or manslaughter for the killings? Will they consider her mental health issues and find her not guilty by lack of criminal responsibility?\n <\/p>\n
\n Or will they make no unanimous decision at all and a mistrial is declared?\n <\/p>\n
\n Here\u2019s a look back at how deliberations have unfolded so far:\n <\/p>\n
\n Thursday, August 27: The 12-person jury begins deliberations at about midday and deliberates for about 3.5 hours.\n <\/p>\n
\n Friday, August 28: The jury asks the court to see the prescription pill bottles and the knife, key physical evidence in the case. The jury deliberates for just under 7 hours before leaving for the weekend.\n <\/p>\n
\n Monday, August 31: The jury deliberates for about 7 more hours.\n <\/p>\n
\n Tuesday, September 1: The jury sends a note to the court saying they \u201care unable to come to a unanimous decision.\u201d The judge instructs the jury to go back and deliberate further.\n <\/p>\n
\n Wednesday, September 2: The jury sends another note that they are unable to reach a verdict.
