Apple is launching new iPhones next week<\/a>, and a Bloomberg report today details<\/a> what to expect from those models as well as the roadmap for 2027 and 2028 debuts.<\/p>\n

Apple reportedly has 10+ new iPhone models coming through 2028, details here<\/p>\n

Ahead of Apple\u2019s big September event<\/a> next week, Mark Gurman today published<\/a> an overview of new products in the works for this fall and beyond. He details hardware that\u2019s in the pipeline for all the way through 2028.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what Gurman says about new iPhones expected to launch:<\/p>\n

2026: Coming next week at September 9 event<\/p>\n

iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max:\u00a0Mechanical aperture camera feature, dark red and light blue colors, A20 Pro chip, C2 modem, improved battery life, and more.<\/p>\n

iPhone Ultra:\u00a0Foldable model will be \u201cabout the size of a passport when folded,\u201d come in light and dark color options, feature Touch ID, an \u201cadvanced hinge,\u201d and cost over $2,000.<\/p>\n

2027<\/p>\n

iPhone 18 and 18e:\u00a0No specific details shared other than \u201cspringtime\u201d launch timing, with the base iPhone 18 getting pushed out of the fall lineup.<\/p>\n

iPhone Air 2:\u00a0Three major feature upgrades coming: Ultra Wide camera, faster chip, and longer battery life.<\/p>\n

iPhone Pro and Pro Max models:\u00a0Unique 20th anniversary design will have \u201ccurved glass around all corners and edges, with thinner bezels.\u201d Gurman says, \u201cIt will be the biggest overhaul to what is now the iPhone Pro line since the iPhone X.\u201d<\/p>\n

Second-generation foldable iPhone:\u00a0New foldable model is \u201calready well into testing.\u201d The only feature mentioned is a new chip.<\/p>\n

2028<\/p>\n

Larger foldable iPhone:\u00a0Third-generation foldable in development with \u201ca slightly larger display on the front and inside\u201d compared to 2026 and 2027\u2019s models.<\/p>\n

Gurman doesn\u2019t offer details on any other 2028 models. Presumably though, there will be new base models, Pro models, and more. The third-gen foldable having larger displays is noteworthy though, as trends show that consumers continue to love ever-bigger screens.<\/p>\n
