Lautaro Mart\u00ednez struck a second goal in injury time to complete Inter Milan\u2019s 3-2 comeback win over title rival Napoli in Serie A<\/a> on Saturday, while Jamal Musiala returned to the field for Bayern Munich in a scoreless draw with Schalke.<\/p>\n

Musiala played his first minutes in the Bundesliga this season after the Bayern midfielder had collapsed<\/a> in two preseason games due to a neurological issue<\/a> which causes seizures.<\/p>\n

In Spain, Athletic Bilbao struck three times in the second half to beat Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid 3-0 in La Liga, while Erling Haaland led Manchester City to another victory<\/a> in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Mart\u00ednez to the rescue in Italy<\/p>\n

Mart\u00ednez\u2019s goals ensured that Inter kept up its early title defense in Italy with its third straight win to lead the standings.<\/p>\n

Napoli looked to be comfortably in charge after Matteo Politano and Rasmus H\u00f8jlund scored in the 50th and 53rd minutes.<\/p>\n

But Mart\u00ednez pulled one back three minutes later and Marcus Thurman equalized in the 82nd just moments after hitting the post.<\/p>\n

Mart\u00ednez found the winner after Manuel Akanji scrambled a loose ball to him at the far post to poke home, unleashing celebrations at San Siro.<\/p>\n

Napoli, under new coach Massimiliano Allegri, has now lost two in a row after falling to Como.<\/p>\n

Next up for Inter is a trip to Real Madrid in their Champions League opener on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Musiala plays after collapsing in preseason<\/p>\n

Musiala went on as a second-half substitute in Bayern’s 0-0 draw with Schalke. He had missed the season opener against Stuttgart.<\/p>\n

The point was the first Schalke had taken against Bayern since 2017.<\/p>\n

Small-town club Elversberg continued a dream start<\/a> to its first-ever Bundesliga season with another upset win, beating Borussia Moenchengladbach 4-3 with a stoppage-time winner.<\/p>\n

From a town of just 13,000 people, Elversberg stunned another former champion after its win over Bayer Leverkusen last week.<\/p>\n

This time, Elversberg did it without coach Vincent Wagner, who was sent off at halftime, only for Maurice Krattenmacher to score the dramatic late winner.<\/p>\n

Also, Borussia Dortmund pulled off a fightback to beat Hoffenheim 3-2 after being two goals down, as Hoffenheim defender Albian Hajdari handed Dortmund victory with an 86th-minute own goal.<\/p>\n

Another of Bayern\u2019s title rivals, Leipzig, slumped to a 3-1 loss at Werder Bremen, whose new signing Niclas F\u00fcllkrug scored a goal. <\/p>\n

Leverkusen\u2019s new coach Carles Martinez<\/a> got his first Bundesliga win, beating Union Berlin 4-0.<\/p>\n

Haaland scores and City stays top in England<\/p>\n

Erling Haaland scored his third goal of the season as Manchester City beat Coventry 1-0 to stay at the top of the Premier League<\/a> with nine points from three games.<\/p>\n

Promoted Hull is second and still unbeaten on seven points after a 0-0 draw with Aston Villa. <\/p>\n

Tottenham picked up its first point of the season with a 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest, and Newcastle remained unbeaten under new coach Matthias Jaissle<\/a> thanks to a late equalizer from Jacob Ramsey in a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth. <\/p>\n

Crystal Palace twice came back against Fulham to eventually win 3-2 at Craven Cottage for its first points of the campaign while Brighton drew 1-1 with Leeds. <\/p>\n

Brentford and Sunderland also drew 1-1.<\/p>\n

Bilbao blasts Atletico in Spain<\/p>\n

Athletic Bilbao rolled over Atletico Madrid 3-0 with second-half goals from Nico Williams, Robert Navarro and Oihan Sancet.<\/p>\n

It was a second straight win for Athletic under its new German coach Edin Terzi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Also, Sergio Camello netted twice to lead Rayo Vallecano to a 3-2 victory over Racing Santander.<\/p>\n
