For his part, Irvin isn\u2019t even sure that the disorderly conduct York was charged with was warranted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe got divorced 5-6 months ago, so I\u2019m like, \u2018Man, come on. Is that really a crime?\u2019 Let that man go. Leave it alone,\u201d Irvin told N3on during a Twitch stream.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike, imagine if you, uh, you\u2019re going through a divorce and some, and some young girl, some pretty girl come up to you hitting on you, you know, and she\u2019s undercover. You don\u2019t know. You take (a girlfriend) out to eat, you\u2019re paying for it. Everybody\u2019s paying for it. So what are we doing? Why we gotta embarrass this man for 140 dollars? People think, \u2018You\u2019re a billionaire. Why didn\u2019t you go to high-end places?\u2019 The high-end places get you in trouble all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/nfl\/shannon-sharpe-defends-jed-york.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Irvin joins Shannon Sharpe<\/a> on the apparently growing list of former NFL players in the media to defend York\u2019s discretions in East Palestine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt don\u2019t make him no bad brother,\u201d Sharpe said. \u201cThe man is human\u2026 he a man and he still got needs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The NFL is reviewing York\u2019s legal matter under the terms of its personal conduct policy.
