While capacity reductions due to elevated fuel prices impact the number of passengers carried, the load factor remained close to 99%, confirming stable strong demand for Norse\u2019s long-haul product.<\/p>\n<p>Eivind Roald, the CEO of Norse, comments:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNorse maintains a strong performance in its own network with a significant year-over-year increase in unit revenue to date in 2026. Our deliberate capacity reductions reflect persistently high fuel prices and while this lowers the number of passengers Norse carry, we fly with nearly full airplanes. We are also proud of our operational performance with no cancellations in August and 80% of our flights departing within 15 minutes of schedule.<\/p>\n<p>As fuel prices remain elevated, we remain mindful of our capacity allocation in the coming months in line with our flexible fleet deployment strategy.
