Here\u2019s what to expect.<\/p>\n<p>iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/iphone-18-pro-black-mockup.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1062539\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2026\/06\/19\/iphone-18-pro-six-new-features-are-coming-this-fall\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max<\/a> are coming as successors to Apple\u2019s popular 17 Pro line.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New features that are rumored include:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">iPhone 18 Pro is also expected to have a higher starting price. <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2026\/07\/31\/iphone-18-pro-may-launch-at-1399-starting-price-per-report\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1062958\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Estimates suggest<\/a> it could start at $1,399, but I suspect it could be closer to $1,199 or $1,249.<\/p>\n<p>iPhone Ultra<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/iphone-ultra-fold-mockup.jpg\" alt=\"Trendforce says hi-tech glue could be key to an invisible crease in the iPhone Ultra (render shown)\" class=\"wp-image-1047596\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2026\/07\/24\/iphone-ultra-is-coming-six-new-features-in-apples-top-tier-model\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone Ultra<\/a> is the rumored name for Apple\u2019s first foldable, with its expected $2,000+ price creating a new high-end tier.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The foldable form factor should make iPhone Ultra the most radically unique model Apple has yet introduced. It will have a wide book-style fold, with a roughly 5.4-inch outer display and 7.8-inch inner display that resembles an iPad mini.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Design materials are expected to mimic the iPhone Air, with a titanium border and sleek look.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">iPhone Ultra will have two rear cameras (Main and Ultra Wide) plus two front-facing cameras, one for each display. It will use Touch ID for authentication rather than Face ID.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Software will be where the device especially shines, with iOS 27 supporting side-by-side app multitasking and adaptive landscape layouts that are perfect for the new form factor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Performance should be about the same as iPhone 18 Pro, with the same A20 Pro chip, a vapor chamber for cooling, and a C2 modem.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s missing: iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/iphone-air-falling.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1064527\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Normally we would expect a new base model iPhone 18 to launch in September too, alongside an iPhone Air successor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year though, Apple is <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2026\/08\/12\/iphone-18-could-get-two-new-pro-level-upgrades-per-report\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reportedly<\/a> overhauling its fall lineup by pushing the iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2 into early 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s unknown whether this change is entirely strategic, or simply out of necessity due to the current memory crisis.
