This surpassed the U.S. Team’s previous winning margin record of 12 strokes set in 2024 at Sunriver Resort. I’m so excited and I’m so proud of the girls. Everybody played so good this week.”

Changkija, a PGA Assistant Golf Professional at Sugar Mill Country Club, bogeyed the opening par-3 1st hole for the second consecutive day. There was only a bunker to carry that was 170. Everything else downsloped towards the front of the green and the ball rolled onto the green, next thing you know it was 21 feet, and I rolled it in.”

Changkija went birdie-bogey on holes 4-5 before adding another birdie at the par-4 7th to make the turn at 2-under 35. The key was just to be in the fairway to start the hole with and then go on from there. It’s a huge honor to win the medalist honors. I contributed to my team’s score each day.”

Paez, a PGA Player Development Manager for PING Golf playing in her first Women’s PGA Cup, felt “very comfortable and confident” as she navigated her final round.
