\n\tAfter a long hangover, \u201cDrunk History<\/a>\u201d is back.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Emmy-winning comedy show is returning with three new short-form episodes, seven years after it last aired on Comedy Central.<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner, \u201cDrunk History\u201d pairs inebriated storytellers with scrappy historical reenactments. (The facts and dates are true, but the dialogue definitely isn\u2019t.) The first new episode, launching on Sept. 15 on Comedy Central\u2019s YouTube channel, stars Meghan Trainor as Madonna, focusing on the pop icon\u2019s legendary performance at the inaugural VMAs.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe cast also includes Steve Agee, Tim Baltz, Seth Green, Colin Hanks, Jack McBrayer, Chris Parnell, Johnny Pemberton, Daryl Sabara, Mae Whitman, Weird \u201cAl\u201d Yankovic and more, with narrators including Lisa Gilroy, Patton Oswalt and Marisha Ray.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe other storylines center on Frances Perkins (the unsung architect of FDR\u2019s New Deal) and two men\u2019s lifelong battle to make the world\u2019s largest ball of twine.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDrunk History\u201d started in 2007 as a Funny or Die web series before Comedy Central picked it up as a TV show that ran for six seasons from 2013 to 2019. That year, the network renewed \u201cDrunk History\u201d for a seventh season but reversed the decision in 2020, when production was halted due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n

\n\tGuest stars over the years include Jack Black, Will Ferrell, Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Bob Odenkirk and more.<\/p>\n
