Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly surprised by King Charles’ letter, but not by its core message. The Duchess of Sussex and the Duke were said to accept that Harry was not a working royal. Instead, a source claimed the issue was “about timing, not content.” The letter restated their private status after the couple’s UK return. It also revived questions over palace communication and public family friction.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s surprise over King Charles’ letter was reportedly “about timing, not content”

According to a Page Six report, King Charles sent the letter after the Sussexes’ UK move. The report said the monarch reminded Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of their “private citizen status.” Meanwhile, royal commentator Tom Sykes said the public had been “dragged into” a family dispute. He added the issue followed Harry’s office telling the BBC the couple was “surprised” by it.

However, the response was reportedly narrower than it first appeared. A source close to Harry told Sykes the surprise was “about timing, not content.” Sykes explained, “They agree with the letter.” He added, “They accept Harry isn’t a working royal.” According to him, the couple objected because it landed “minutes before it went out.” He also said King Charles had restated “a known fact.” Page Six said it reached out to representatives for Harry, Meghan and Charles for comment.

Still, the letter laid out the royal position in direct terms. The King clarified that Harry and Meghan could not use “His and Her Royal Highness.” The note reportedly said the Duke and Duchess stepped down in January 2020. It also stated they were “no longer working Members of the Royal Family.” Additionally, the letter rejected a “half-in and half-out” status. Their charitable work was described as private work. Page Six said the team received it around 2 p.m. UK time. Harry was contacted at 3:09 p.m., before the media release two minutes later.

The post Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s Shock Response To King Charles’ Letter Raises Eyebrows — Report appeared first on Reality Tea.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly surprised by King Charles’ letter, but not by its core message.…

[33
88,2153,9843,9844,123332
post-841567","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-entertainment","tag-king-charles","tag-meghan-markle","tag-prince-harry","tag-tom-sykes
["GET
