Amiibo and a special edition have also been confirmed!<\/p>\n<p>As for the footage, it looks like a proper continuation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/metroid_dread\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Metroid Dread<\/a>, albeit with maybe even more melee combat than ever before. It looks like you&#8217;ll be able to feed on your enemies too, hence the name.<\/p>\n<p>Other mechanics seem to include running on water, warping in mid-air, and executing finishing attacks. Plus, the Metroid Ravenous amiibo collection will release with individual Samus and Chozo Statue figures at launch. A third amiibo in the lineup, Samus (Metroid Suit), will be bundled with a Special Edition that includes the game and a steel game case.
