Beloved country star Brian \u201cNashville\u201d Neil Duckworth has died<\/a>. He was 56 years old. <\/p>\n

According to an obituary shared by his family members<\/a>, he died \u201cat his home\u201d in Clarksburg, W. Va on Sept. 7 and will be laid to rest on Sept. 14 at Floral Hills Memorial Garden. <\/p>\n

A cause of death was not disclosed. <\/p>\n

The Taylor Made Band member \u2014 who performed alongside brother Greg Duckworth and sister Wendy Williams\u2013 kept his job as a dump truck operator, even as the band performed, his obituary revealed. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe was the \u2018Truck Boss,\u2019\u201d his family wrote, noting that it was \u201ca job he truly enjoyed because it allowed him to spend his days outdoors. <\/p>\n

They added, \u201cWhether working or relaxing, Brian was happiest surrounded by nature.\u201d <\/p>\n

His music career was \u201calso a special part of his life,\u201d the announcement went on. \u201cHe loved to sing and proudly performed with\u201d the band. <\/p>\n

The obituary noted that the singer \u201cnever passed up an opportunity to share his voice,\u201d which earned him the \u201caffectionate nickname \u2018Nashville.’\u201d <\/p>\n

The family also noted that he \u201cdearly loved his faithful fur family, who were constant companions and brought him great comfort and happiness.\u201d <\/p>\n

He\u2019s survived by wife Tina Scheuvront Duckworth and their six children, as well as four grandchildren. He\u2019s also survived by five brothers and sisters. <\/p>\n

\u201cBrian\u2019s love of family, music, and the outdoors will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him,\u201d the announcement read. <\/p>\n

In addition to the online tribute, Brian\u2019s niece Brianna Duckworth Kazner took to social media<\/a> earlier this week to remember her uncle with an emotional post.<\/p>\n

\u201cI grew up watching my dad, Aunt Wendy, and Uncle Brian perform at fairs and festivals until I was finally old enough to join them on a few occasions,\u201d she wrote alongside a clip of the singer belting out tunes at her wedding. <\/p>\n

\u201cAs I\u2019ve gotten older and started writing my own music, I knew the guy to call whenever I got creatively \u2018stuck,’\u201d, she continued, noting that he \u201chad such a way with song lyrics that I knew without a doubt Uncle Brian would pull me out of the songwriter\u2019s slump.\u201d <\/p>\n

Kazner looked back on \u201cSo many nights singing music\u2026phone calls with random jokes\u2026a guy that wore my Go Duck tshirt proudly as he sang at our ribbon cutting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGuess I should get to work on that,\u201d he wrote. \u201cUncle \u2018Bert,\u2019 I can\u2019t count the number of times we got to sing together but it will have never been enough \"\ud83d\udc94\"\/\u201d she concluded. <\/p>\n

Brian rose to prominence in 2012 when Taylor Made \u2014 which is known for opening for high-profile country artists including Miranda Lambert <\/a>and Dierks Bentley \u2014 released their single \u201cThings You Don\u2019t Grow Out Of.\u201d <\/p>\n
