An Israeli air strike on a vehicle in Gaza City has killed at least two people and wounded 13, medics say.<\/p>\n

The attack on Sunday in the city\u2019s Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood had dismembered the bodies of the deceased, health officials said, appealing to the public for information that could help identify them.<\/p>\n

Footage circulating on social media and verified by Al Jazeera showed the targeted vehicle mangled and gutted, its roof and doors torn away.<\/p>\n

The Israeli military said it had targeted two Hamas fighters.<\/p>\n

The strike is the latest in a wave of near-daily Israeli attacks on the war-ravaged, besieged Palestinian territory since a \u201cceasefire\u201d was agreed by Israel and Hamas last October.<\/p>\n

More than 1,300 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since the United States-brokered \u201ctruce\u201d began, according to health authorities.<\/p>\n

Hamas has accused Israel of violating the \u201cceasefire\u201d and obstructing US President Donald Trump\u2019s plan to end the genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza, which includes an eventual Israeli withdrawal from the Palestinian enclave and the disarmament of Hamas.<\/p>\n

Gaza\u2019s Ministry of Health said on Sunday that several hospital generators have stopped working in recent days because of shortages of oil, fuel and spare parts.<\/p>\n

Officials said the limited oil Israel has allowed into Gaza covers only emergency needs and falls far short of the 2,500 litres (660 gallons) hospitals require each month.<\/p>\n

During a visit to Ireland on Saturday, Trump defended his administration\u2019s record on Gaza.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe put out the fire, and we got all the hostages back. There\u2019s very little happening right now in Gaza,\u201d he told reporters at a news conference.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you look at Gaza, there\u2019s a lot of good relationships taking place right now. It\u2019s been quite amazing. I think we\u2019ve done a great job,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
