It has an average annual value of $4.2 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 23-year-old forward became a restricted free agent July 1 after he had 30 points (12 goals, 18 assists) in 78 regular-season games for the Canadiens and seven points (three goals, four assists) in 19 Stanley Cup Playoff games.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Selected by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (No. 17) of the 2021 NHL Draft, Bolduc has 75 points (36 goals, 39 assists) in 175 regular-season games with the Blues and Canadiens, and eight points (three goals, five assists) in 26 playoff games.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was acquired by Montreal in a trade with St. Louis for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/player\/logan-mailloux-8482733\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Logan Mailloux<\/a>\u00a0on July 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadiens signed forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/player\/chris-kreider-8475184\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Kreider<\/a>\u00a0to a one-year contract on Saturday, two days after the forward\u2019s contract was terminated by the Anaheim Ducks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Montreal is\u00a0set to begin training camp later this week after reaching the Eastern Conference Final last season, when it lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in five games.
