Unfortunately, I recently received a letter on behalf of Sony Interactive Entertainment requesting for the mod not to be released.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Speclizer then thanked everyone for their support and asked it carries over to a new project they&#8217;re working on, which is something original. &#8220;I hope to bring you something bigger and better soon!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Development of the mod had been at least partially funded by Patreon pledges, so the modder was profiting off their work in a way. This will have put the mod on Sony\u2019s radar more so than a standard, free mod since The Last of Us 2 still belongs to Sony at the end of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Hey everyone, as you all know, the TLOU 2 Multiplayer mod that has been in development since January was supposed to release this month.
