SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO \u2013 A 30-year-old South San Francisco man has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a woman\u2019s home and sexually assaulting her, police said.<\/p>\n
The incident was reported around 4:50 a.m. on Sept. 8 in the 400 block of Railroad Avenue, the South San Francisco Police Department said in a news release Monday.<\/p>\n
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries she suffered during the sexual assault, police said, adding that her injuries were not considered life-threatening.<\/p>\n
An investigation revealed the suspect forced his way into the victim\u2019s home and attacked her, police said. The victim and suspect did not know each other, according to police.<\/p>\n
Detectives identified the suspect as Deyver Flores-Sanchez and arrested him the following day on suspicion of attempted murder, rape and burglary, police said. He was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City, where he remained Monday.<\/p>\n
Flores-Sanchez is set to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n
