Vance outlines \u2018second phase\u2019 of Iran war as conflict approaches major shift<\/p>\n
Vice President JD Vance said the Iran war will enter a \u201cmuch different phase\u201d in the coming months during an interview with the New York Post<\/a> aboard Air Force Two on Monday. <\/p>\n \u201cWe can\u2019t predict the future, but I think the president is right to say that this thing will enter a much different phase in a couple of months,\u201d Vance told the outlet. <\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s also the commander in chief, so he\u2019s the person who determines \u2026 when conflicts start and when they stop,\u201d he said of President Donald Trump<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cI certainly understand there\u2019s some impatience from the American people, but fundamentally what\u2019s happening right now is that the United States is not engaged in aggressive operations. Two members of the crew remain missing.
