Stock futures climbed early Thursday following a market sell-off incited by the first Federal Reserve<\/a> interest rate hike in three years.<\/p>\n Futures<\/a> tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 331 points, or 0.64%. S&P 500 futures<\/a> were up 0.61%, and Nasdaq-100 futures<\/a> added 0.71%. <\/p>\n In Asia, Japan’s\u00a0Nikkei 225<\/a>\u00a0added 0.46%, while the Topix rose 0.82%.The Kospi<\/a> advanced 0.72% and the small-cap Kosdaq gained 1.11%. Hong Kong’s\u00a0Hang Seng index<\/a>\u00a0was down 0.73%, while Mainland China’s CSI 300 fell 0.36%.\u00a0Australia’s S&P\/ASX 200<\/a>\u00a0inched 0.27% higher. <\/p>\n Generac<\/a> rose more than 30% in extended trading after Amazon received warrants to buy up to $340 million<\/a> of its shares. The warrants are part of a deal in which Generac will supply Amazon with backup power generators for its data centers.<\/p>\n In regular trading, the blue-chip Dow<\/a> lost more than 630 points, or 1.2%, dragged down by financial services names. The broad market S&P 500<\/a>\u00a0edged lower by 0.5%, while the tech-heavy\u00a0Nasdaq Composite<\/a>\u00a0ended the session marginally lower.<\/p>\n In a widely anticipated move, the Fed\u00a0raised the overnight federal funds rate<\/a>\u00a0by a quarter percentage point on Wednesday afternoon, bringing the target range to 3.75%-4%. Policymakers also signaled another hike could come this year, with Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh<\/a> saying that inflation remains too high.<\/p>\n
